Pico
Pico vases and bowls channel the spirit and energy of the Pico volcano. They combine commercial clay with foraged materials such as mud found on the side of the peak and lava sand from island beaches. These are entirely unique pieces because of the experimental way that they were thrown and manipulated and fired in a wood kiln.

São Roque
São Roque tumblers and mugs embody the balance of nature and civilization on the Azores Islands. These pieces use commercial clays and studio-mixed glazes. They are mostly fired in an electric kiln, though there are a few pieces that were fired in a wood kiln.

Rosário
Rosário mugs and tumblers honor my memories of my grandmother. While an abstraction, the dots on these pieces nonetheless represent her treasured rosary beads . These pieces are made with commercial clay and a studio-mixed green glaze.
Rhoda
I started making this line of trays when my kids, husband, and I lived on Rhoda Avenue in Oakland, California. These trays are hand-built using a variety of commercial clays and studio-mixed glazes. They can be used to hold jewelry, candles, or incense, The larger trays can be used for appetizers or snacks.
Santa Luzía
Santa Luzia bowls are designed in memory of the women in my family who lived in small lava rock homes for hundreds of years on the island of Pico. I designed these pieces using a range of commercial clays, studio-mixed glazes, and ash glazes. Some are wood fired and others are fired in an electric kiln.

Mar
I designed Mar bowls and cups to recognize the Portuguese cultural origins that arrived across the water. Portugal was never sealed off and later "invaded" — it was shaped by continuous connection. Each Mar piece embodies these origins with pride. They are made with commercial clay and studio-mixed glazes.
